Tarshish

Tarshish was named by the owners after a once great city on the western shores of the Mediterranean Sea in biblical times. It is said that King Solomon sent his ships between Tarshish in the west onto the Middle East to exchange jewels and spices, creating a fusion of cultures and culinary delights. Tarshish represents the east meeting west in a marriage of modern contemporary design aesthetics with the traditional Cuisine of Turkey.

Guests will undoubtedly dine in modern, chic surroundings that belies its location on a North London High Rd. This upper two-floor venue boasts an impressive interior design, which wouldn't look out of place in the West End of London. However, the menu transports you to a country in the East of the Mediterranean, namely Turkey. With every bite, guests are reminded of the fusion of centuries-old cultures and the passage of time that it took for Tarshish to come into existence.

Tarshish is a Turkish and Mediterranean grill restaurant that offers an unforgettable fine dining experience.  With space for 300 guests, you'll find your place at the Tarshish table. The menu is predominantly Turkish, with a sprinkling of items from around the Globe. You'll be able to enjoy a vast array of sumptuous dishes and drinks whilst enjoying the High Rd of Wood Green.
