Havet (Tunbridge Wells)

Havet is the brainchild of three Turkish Cypriot family members.

From childhood, memories of eating authentic, traditional Turkish food motivated two brothers and a cousin to open their first restaurant in 2012. They had eaten in too many restaurants where everything was brought that they decided they could do better.

Turkish food is about authentic flavours and fresh ingredients cooked at home daily. Their parents would never dine out eating premade food, and they don't think anyone else should either. Once you've tasted genuinely fresh food, you can immediately tell the difference.

They aim to recreate meals and experiences from their formative years, taking inspiration from family mealtimes. The result is Havet: a friendly, buzzing, authentic Turkish restaurant full of life and atmosphere. The minute you walk through the door, your senses tell you what they're all about: freshness, quality food and a great dining experience. From the aroma of the charcoal grill cooking expertly marinated succulent meat to the view of the open kitchen where you can see ingredients used to create authentic Turkish food… dining at Havet is like enjoying a meal in their homes.

Havet (Tunbridge Wells) is set within a stunning 3-story building on Mount Pleasant Road, close to the main entrance to the Victoria Shopping Centre and 50 yards North of the cinema.
